Finding a person in custody in Calhoun County depends on knowing which system is holding them, and that is rarely obvious from the outside. The county sheriff runs a local jail roster, the state corrections department runs a separate locator, and federal agencies use their own tools. This site is a private reference that pulls those rosters, locators, and contacts into one place so a search does not start with a guess.

Why We Built This Site

Florida keeps most jail and inmate information open to the public. The hard part is not whether a record exists, it is figuring out which office holds it. A person booked into the Calhoun County Jail before trial shows up on the sheriff's roster. Once that same person is convicted and sentenced to state prison, the trail moves to the Florida Department of Corrections and its statewide locator. Federal defendants and immigration detainees appear in yet other systems run by the Bureau of Prisons and ICE.
